Welcome to the Havens!

This is the official website of The Havens Community Council (HCC) and a source of information for The Havens Community.  The Havens comprises of the villages of Broad Haven, Little Haven, Talbenny, Hasguard, Haroldston, Walton West and Broadway and is located on the West coast of Pembrokeshire at the South Eastern end of St Brides Bay.  As well as the official business of HCC, here you can find out about our community, our history and what's going on right now. 

Sitting withing the Pembrokeshire National Park The Havens is blessed with an outstanding array of scenery.  From the quaint and charming old fishing village of Little Haven, the outstanding sandy Beach of Broad Haven, walks through Haroldston woods to the North, Bluebell Woods to the South and of course the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path running along its Western Edge, it is a fantastic place to live, work and visit.  With an array of pubs, restaurants, cafes, speciality shops, Camping, Caravan parks and lodges, it is ideal for a variety of Holidays from the Traditional Beach Holiday with safe bathing, walking, water sports or just plain relaxing.  The Havens has it all!

The Havens has a vibrant and friendly community with an Electorate of 914 but this expands significantly during the Holiday and walking seasons. Central to all activity is a proactive local Community Council and a plethora of committees and groups coordinating a fabulous year-round Calendar of events and activities. The community is rightly proud of the Little and Broad Haven Lifeboat station which has been manned by locals since 1882, the two Village Halls, the Slash Pond and the various Group and organisations that provide and support local events.

The Community hosts a number of events throughout the year including the Pembrokeshire Triathlon, The Pudding Race, Broad Haven Carnival, Havens Firework Display and Little Haven Regatta to name a few!
